Lake Bellfield

Such a lovely lake to spend the day on a hot summers day in the Grampians.

The Lake is in the warmer months often used for recreational activities such as fishing, canoeing and swimming. Much more peaceful then Lake Fyans, as jet skies and any other powerboats are not permitted on the lake.

There is a lovely picnic area too!

From Halls Gap head South towards Dunkeld. When you see a sign to turn right to the Silverband Falls you see on the left a dirt road towards the lake. Follow this and you end up in a large carpark.

BE AWARE: All lakes in the Grampians are man made and therefor suddenly very steep and deep. So please keep your eyes on your little ones! Ronny and Rosa always play with a life jacket on when hanging out at any of the lakes in the Grampians!
