Below Ronny and Rosa's favorite activities. Did you know Halls Gap has the largest Regional Zoo in Victoria, with over 550 species?  A nine-hole Golf Course as well as the amazing Grampians Adventure Golf and what did you say? Camel rides?!?!

We don’t think, we KNOW the Grampians has some of the best wineries in Australia, especially for its Shiraz.

Here are our top picks to visit a winery in the Grampians with young children who couldn’t think of anything more boring than waiting for their parents to taste some wine. These wineries will guarantees some entertainment for the kids to allow you a few moments to be able to breathe and enjoy that hug in a glass.

Bests Great Western winery and cellar door have an authentic looking cellar door where you can visit the underground storage for their wines in a self guided tour. Outside you can easily have a nice picnic outside whilst enjoying a tasting of some of their wines. Best’s wines produces some of the regions most well known wines!

Fallen Giants


Close to town, Fallen Giants has an outdoor playground which you can view through the windows of cellar door, and a large grassy area. Pack the football/ soccer ball or cricket set and have a family afternoon.  This is a great spot to stop after you have visited the Halls Gap Zoo, only 300m down the road.

Pomonal Estate


Pomonal Estate, located about 20 minutes away by car, has a large indoor area perfectly suited to enjoy lunch and an outdoor area big enough to play a game of footy all with the Grampians Ranges as a backdrop.

Seppelts


Seppelts winery and cellar door has the underground tunnels, 3km in fact that you can take a tour in and learn about the history on how they used to store the famous Seppelt Champagne. And I’m sure you can get creative on a few stories of what adventures that could have happened down in the droves all those years ago.
